Its half height format provides effective splash and water protection while keeping the showering area completely open and step-free – ideal for accessible and assisted wet rooms.

The lower screen height allows a carer to assist the user while staying dry, supporting safe, dignified and independent showering at home or in a care setting. Manufactured to AKW’s exacting standards, the Option XW combines a rigid, corrosion-resistant frame with lightweight, shatterproof PET glazing for everyday durability. It is available in both left-hand and right-hand configurations, in 750mm and 900mm screen heights, so you can match the screen precisely to your wet room layout.
