What is a Type 11 radiator?

A Type 11 radiator has one front panel backed by a single layer of convector fins. Hot water heats the panel, the panel heats the fins, and the fins rapidly warm the air circulating through the room. With the smallest surface area of the convector range, a Type 11 offers a lower, efficient heat output — ideal where a larger radiator would simply overheat the space and waste energy.
