A Complete Pumped Shower Tray Package

This package brings together the three parts of a pumped shower installation in a single order: the AKW SmartCare Lever 9.5kW Electric Shower, the M11 DigiPump with wireless control, and the PW50 pumped waste. The 9.5kW output gives a stronger flow rate than the 8.5kW version.

Where gravity drainage isn't available – a ground floor with no fall to the stack, a flat, an upstairs conversion – a pumped waste is what makes the installation possible. The PW50 is AKW's standard pumped waste for shower tray installations, with a 22mm John Guest Speedfit outlet. The M11 DigiPump then lifts the water away to the soil stack.

The wireless link between shower and pump means no interconnecting control cable needs running between the two units – a genuine advantage on retrofit work where chasing walls is best avoided.

Which Waste Do I Need?

PW50 is the standard pumped waste for shower tray installations. The PW90 is the 90mm diameter alternative, suited to Onyx and Linea trays. If you're building a wet floor former instead, look at the Screedmaster package, or the quieter Silentflow+ package where noise matters.
