Modern Slavery Statement
Last updated: 29 June 2026
Essential Bathrooms is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chain. This statement is published voluntarily and reflects the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Our business
Essential Bathrooms is a UK-based retailer of bathroom and accessible bathing products, supplying domestic customers, trade customers and care settings across the United Kingdom.
Our supply chain
We source the products we sell from established UK and European manufacturers and distributors, including recognised brands such as Pressalit, AKW, Kartell and Geberit. These manufacturers maintain their own modern slavery, ethical sourcing and supplier-conduct policies, and we choose to work with reputable suppliers who share our commitment to lawful and ethical practices.
Our approach
We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. In support of this, we:
- expect all suppliers and business partners to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and to uphold the same standards within their own supply chains;
- favour established, reputable manufacturers with their own published ethical-sourcing and modern slavery commitments;
- will not knowingly support or do business with any organisation involved in slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, or human trafficking; and
- encourage anyone with concerns about modern slavery in our business or supply chain to report them to us so they can be investigated.
Responsibility and review
Responsibility for this statement and our anti-slavery measures rests with the management of Essential Bathrooms. We review this statement periodically and update it as our business and supply chain evolve.
