The Quiet Option for Pumped Wet Rooms

This package pairs the AKW SmartCare Lever 9.5kW Electric Shower with the M11 DigiPump, wireless control, and Silentflow+ – AKW's noise-reducing pumped gulley for Tuff Form wet floor formers. The 9.5kW output gives a stronger flow rate than the 8.5kW version.

Pump noise is the usual complaint with pumped waste systems, and it's the reason some installers avoid them in bedroom-adjacent en-suites and flats. Silentflow+ was designed specifically to address it: the internal geometry uses flow guides and a balanced chamber to cut the gulping and turbulence that make conventional pumped wastes audible during and after a shower. AKW's own testing puts it level with the nearest competitor's quiet-rated waste at 11 litres per minute, and ahead of it above that – which matters here, because the higher 9.5kW output and the DigiPump's capacity both push flow rates up.

It is a low-profile unit designed for Tuff Form formers with vinyl floor covering, and connects directly to the M11, M17 and M20 DigiPumps through an integrated 22mm John Guest push-fit. A John Guest adaptor for 15mm pipework is supplied. The bayonet cover is a direct replacement for existing TF75 installations, which makes it a straightforward upgrade on an older wet room.

Which Waste Do I Need?

Silentflow+ is specified for wet floor former installations, and is the one to choose where running noise matters. Screedmaster is the standard former waste. If you're fitting a shower tray instead, the PW50 or PW90 packages are the ones to look at.
