Lay a traditional Victorian floor with this small plain matt porcelain tile – a warm beige 93x93mm square for chequerboards, plain fields and geometric designs.
Small plain squares are the building blocks of a Victorian floor. Mix colours for a classic chequerboard, lay a single colour as a plain field, or combine them into a simple geometric design, with the silver grey decorative inset set in as a feature. The matt finish gives an authentic, practical, low-sheen surface underfoot.
Made from porcelain, it is dense, low-porosity and hard-wearing, and it is designed for indoor floors in hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, conservatories and living areas.

Coverage & Ordering
This tile is priced and sold individually. Each tile covers 0.0087m² and tiles are supplied in boxes of 115 (approximately 1.0m² per box), so roughly 115 tiles cover one square metre. To work out how many you need, multiply your area in square metres by 115 and round up. We recommend allowing an additional 10% for cuts, wastage and future repairs.
Tiles are produced in batches and slight variation in shade between batches is normal. Please order the full quantity you need in one go so that everything comes from the same batch.
Installation Notes
Fix to a flat, sound and rigid subfloor with a flexible floor tile adhesive, using a full bed of adhesive. Dry-lay the design first and set out from the centre of the room so the pattern runs square to the main walls. Use a narrow joint in a grout colour that suits the look - mid grey is the traditional choice for a Victorian floor. Clean with a neutral, non-abrasive cleaner.
