Bring the cosy warmth of a country cottage floor to your home with this terracotta-effect glazed porcelain tile – a classic clay tone with gentle tonal variation from tile to tile, in a generous 406x406mm square that gives all the character of real terracotta without the maintenance.
The satin glaze gives the surface a soft, low sheen that reads like a lightly waxed clay tile, and the colour shifts gently from tile to tile so a floor has the mottled warmth of the real thing. At 406x406mm it is a generous square that lays quickly in a straight grid or on the diagonal, and it suits kitchen and hallway floors, boot rooms, conservatories and cottage bathrooms.
Made from glazed porcelain, it is dense, low-porosity and hard-wearing, and unlike real terracotta it never needs sealing, so it is rated for walls and floors including kitchens, hallways and bathrooms.

Coverage & Ordering
This tile is priced and sold individually. Each tile covers 0.165m² and tiles are supplied in boxes of 6 (approximately 0.99m² per box), so roughly 6.1 tiles cover one square metre. To work out how many you need, multiply your area in square metres by 6.1 and round up. We recommend allowing an additional 10% for cuts, wastage and future repairs.
Tiles are produced in batches and slight variation in shade between batches is normal. Please order the full quantity you need in one go so that everything comes from the same batch.
Installation Notes
Fix with a flexible porcelain adhesive using a full-bed (back-buttered) technique on a flat, sound base, and use a 3-5mm joint in a warm sand or terracotta-toned grout for a traditional look, or a darker grout to make the grid crisper. Mix tiles from several boxes as you lay so the natural variation is evenly spread. No sealing is required.
