Marathon Multi Colour Patterned Satin Porcelain Wall & Floor Tile 442x442mm (Per Box of 7 Tiles)
Essential Bathrooms stock items ordered before 3pm are dispatched the same working day for next working day delivery. Stock availability is confirmed at the point of order.
Priced per box of 7 tiles. Each box covers approximately 1.37m² (7 tiles at 442x442mm, 0.195m² per tile). That works out at £5.42 per tile, or about £27.79 per m². Tiles are sold in full boxes only.
Create a floor or wall full of character with this multi-colour patterned porcelain tile – a random mix of repeating vintage-style patterns in warm, muted colours that combine into a rustic patchwork with a modern, practical satin finish.
Each box holds a random mix of repeating patterns, so the finished surface has the layered, collected-over-time character of a traditional patchwork floor while the satin glaze keeps it practical and easy to clean. At 442x442mm it lays quickly in a straight grid, and it suits kitchen and hallway floors, bathroom floors, splashbacks and feature walls alike.
Made from glazed porcelain, it is dense, low-porosity and hard-wearing, and it is rated for walls and floors including kitchens, hallways and bathrooms.

Coverage & Ordering
This tile is sold in full boxes of 7. Each box covers approximately 1.37m² (roughly 5.1 tiles per square metre). To work out how many boxes you need, divide your area in square metres by 1.37 and round up to the next whole box. We recommend allowing an additional 10% for cuts, wastage and future repairs.
Tiles are produced in batches and slight variation in shade between batches is normal. Please order the full quantity you need in one go so that everything comes from the same batch.
Installation Notes
Fix with a flexible porcelain adhesive using a full-bed (back-buttered) technique on a flat, sound base, and use a 2-3mm joint in a mid-tone grout so the patterns read as one surface. Open several boxes and lay the patterns at random, stepping back regularly so no two identical designs sit side by side.
Complete the Range
The Marathon patchwork tile is a single-size, mixed-pattern range designed to be used on its own, and it pairs well with plain white, cream or terracotta-effect tiles on the surrounding walls and floors. Browse the full Marathon range.
