Impey Drop Down Hinged Support Rail - White

Impey Drop Down Hinged Support Rails are wall-mounted hinged rails that give a firm handhold beside a WC or inside a shower area, then lift and fold up against the wall when not needed. They suit bathrooms where a fixed rail would get in the way, and are a common choice beside a toilet for sideways transfers. Supplied as the looped Trombone-style hinged support rail.

There are two types in the range. The WC rails (DR1, DR5, DR7, DR8) are powder-coated steel, for the dry side of the bathroom beside a toilet. DR1 and DR7 are wall-fixed only; DR5 and DR8 add an adjustable drop-down support leg that carries part of the load to the floor. DR1, DR7 and DR8 have an integral toilet roll holder. DR5 does not. DR5 and DR8 are the same size, so the only difference between them is the toilet roll holder. The shower-rated rails (DR11 and DR12) are non-corrosive stainless steel rails with a support leg, made to be fitted inside the shower area. DR12 (650mm) has a toilet roll holder; DR11 (800mm) does not. If the rail is going next to a toilet and away from the shower, a WC rail is the right choice.
