Impey Slimfold Fold Up Shower Seat with Back and Arms

The Impey Slimfold Shower Seat is a wall-mounted fold up shower seat with a back and two fold-down arms, made in Britain from corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a moulded polyethylene seat and arms. It folds flat against the wall when not in use and projects just 114mm, so it takes up almost no room in a small shower area or wetroom.

Rather than drop-down legs, the seat is carried on cross-bracing wall supports. That removes the trip point at floor level, keeps the floor clear for a wheelchair turning circle, and means the seat can be fixed at any height from 415mm upwards to suit the person using it. The seat top is angled back at 4 degrees so water runs off the rear, and the smooth rounded polyethylene surfaces have no dirt traps and feel warm to the touch.

To deploy the seat you pull out the front edge so the rear slides down, and the arms then fold into place. The mechanism will not drop down if knocked. Independently tested to BS12182 and BS12727, it supports up to 300kg (47 stone). All Slimfold seats are supplied with a White Stone wall-fixed back; choose the seat and arm colour from the dropdown.
