Impey Level-Dec EasyFit Wetroom Floor Former - For Vinyl Floors
The Level-Dec EasyFit is Impey's wetroom floor former for sheet vinyl flooring. It is a rigid GRP moulding, 22mm thick at the outer edge, that replaces the floorboards across the showering area and gives a level-access floor with no step and no upstand. Reinforcing ribs on the underside spread the load evenly across the joists.
Four pre-formed gradients fall to the central drain aperture, with a consistent 15mm fall from the outer edge down to the drain. The former fixes directly onto floor joists at 400mm centres with no additional support, or beds into a screeded concrete floor. It can be cut to length on site to suit a wall to wall measurement or to clear a soil pipe.
This former is for a vinyl or Altro sheet floor finish only. The sheet flooring is laid over the former and clamped into the drain, so the former, the flooring and the drain together form one continuous waterproof surface. It takes vinyl drainage only.
A drain is included. Every Level-Dec EasyFit is supplied with the UTVG01/H vinyl floor gully as standard - a two part gravity waste with a grey cover, a 43mm outlet and a 50mm water seal, set up for a horizontal run. Leave the Waste dropdown on Level Dec Only - No Waste Required to take the former with that gully as supplied. The other options in the dropdown swap it for a different drain.

Which drain do I need?
The former comes with the UTVG01/H grey gravity gully, horizontal outlet. If that suits the installation, leave the Waste dropdown on Level Dec Only - No Waste Required. To have the former supplied with a different drain instead, pick one of the others.
- Horizontal outlet - the usual choice where the waste pipe runs sideways beneath the floor between the joists. This is what the standard supplied gully is set up for.
- Vertical outlet - where the waste drops straight down, typically on a concrete floor or where there is clear space below.
- Standard gravity drain (UTVG01, UTVC01) - the two part vinyl gravity waste, 200mm wide with a membrane clamping ring, a 43mm solvent weld outlet and a 50mm water seal. Grey or chrome cover, horizontal or vertical outlet.
- Slim+ (SLW2VG/H, SLW2VCP/H) - a 40mm deep gravity waste for installations with limited depth below the floor, flowing 32 litres per minute at a 15mm head of water. Grey or chrome cover, horizontal outlet only.
- Vertical outlet with a white cover (TSG2) - a deeper drain with a 75mm water seal and a 110mm outlet with a 50mm reducer, for a vertical drop where a deeper trap seal is specified.
Waterproofing
The vinyl flooring forms the waterproof surface across the former, and the surrounding wall and floor junctions still need tanking. Impey WaterGuard is the matching tanking system and is required for the full lifetime guarantee on the finished wetroom.
