The low-pressure Minta, for homes on a gravity-fed or open-vented hot water system — typically a cold tank in the loft feeding a hot cylinder in the airing cupboard. A standard mixer fitted to that kind of system will run badly or not at all, because it needs mains pressure to work properly. This version is designed for it.

Please note: if you are unsure whether your system is low pressure, the usual sign is a cold water tank in the loft. Contact us before ordering and we will confirm which version you need — fitting the wrong one is the most common cause of a new kitchen tap disappointing.
