Impey Aqua-Dec EasyFit Wetroom Floor Former - For Tiled Floors
The Aqua-Dec EasyFit is Impey's most versatile wetroom floor former, made in Somerset. Its central drain plate rotates through 360 degrees, so the drainage point can be turned to clear a joist or any other obstruction under the floor rather than the floor being worked around the drain. At 22mm it matches the depth of standard floorboards, and it can be trimmed anywhere up to the solid surround with an ordinary handsaw.
Four pre-formed gradients fall to the centre, giving flow rates of up to 36 litres per minute depending on the drain top chosen. It fits direct to timber joists at centres up to 415mm with no underboarding, or beds into a screeded concrete floor.
This former is for a tiled floor finish only. For a vinyl or Altro finish, the Level-Dec range is the correct product and takes its own vinyl drainage.
A drain is included. Every Aqua-Dec EasyFit is supplied with the standard UTT01/H tiled gully as standard, set up for a horizontal run. Leave the Waste dropdown on Aqua Dec Only - No Waste Required to take the former with that gully as supplied. The other options in the dropdown swap it for a different drain top.

Which drain do I need?
The former comes with the standard UTT01/H tiled gully, horizontal outlet. If that suits the installation, leave the Waste dropdown on Aqua Dec Only - No Waste Required. To have the former supplied with a different drain top instead, pick one of the others.
- Horizontal outlet - the usual choice where the waste pipe runs sideways beneath the floor between the joists. This is what the standard supplied gully is set up for.
- Vertical outlet - where the waste drops straight down, typically on a concrete floor or where there is clear space below.
- Square drain tops - Slot, Fibre, Grid, Identity and Stamp, all in brushed stainless steel, horizontal or vertical outlet.
- Paragon - a larger format drain top in brushed or polished stainless steel, horizontal or vertical outlet.
- Tiled insert 14mm - a drain top you tile into, so the floor finish carries across the drain. Horizontal or vertical outlet.
- Slim+ - a shallower drain body for installations with limited depth below the floor, in Slot, Fibre, Grid, Identity and Stamp. Horizontal outlet only.
Waterproofing
A tanking membrane must be laid before tiling. Impey WaterGuard is the matching system and is required for the full lifetime guarantee on the finished wetroom.
