Bushboard Nuance Doux Lime Quartz wall panels in a bathroom

Nuance Panel Kits Explained: Which Pack Do You Need?

Bushboard's Nuance panel kits put the panels, adhesive and colour-matched sealant for a whole shower or bath area into one order. There are five kits, Pack A to Pack E, and each one is sized for a different shape and size of space. This guide explains what is in each pack and how to choose the right one.

Why buy a kit?

  • Everything in one order. Panels, Wilsonart Complete neutral adhesive and a tube of sealant in the colour Bushboard recommends for your decor.
  • The right panel types. Each kit uses postformed panels for the visible edges and tongue & groove panels where boards join, so the finished walls look seamless.
  • Easier ordering. Choose your kit, pick a finish, and you are done.

Two sided or three sided?

Start by deciding which walls you are covering:

  • Two sided (corner) – a shower in the corner of a room, with panels on the back wall and one side wall. Packs A and B, and Pack C for larger corners.
  • Three sided (recess) – a shower or bath in an alcove, with panels on the back wall and both side walls. Pack C for small recesses, Packs D and E for larger ones.

All panels in the kits are 2420mm high and 10mm thick, and can be cut to size on site.

How to choose your pack

  1. Measure each wall you want to panel, from corner to the open edge.
  2. Count the walls. Two walls means a corner kit (A, B or C). Three walls means a recess kit (C, D or E).
  3. Match the longest wall. If your longest wall is up to 1200mm, choose the smallest kit for your layout. Up to 1800mm (a standard bath length is 1700mm), step up to B or D. Up to 2400mm, choose C or E.
  4. Pick your finish. The finish dropdown on each kit shows the matching sealant colour in brackets.

Example layouts

  • 900 x 900mm corner shower – Pack A.
  • 1700mm bath in an alcove – Pack D covers the long back wall and both ends.
  • 1200 x 800mm shower recess – Pack C.
  • Large walk-in shower with a 2000mm back wall in an alcove – Pack E.

Finishes available in the kits

The kits are offered in three price bands, depending on the decor:

  • Arctic Gloss and Petra Gloss – the entry finishes.
  • Magma Riven, Frost Glaze, Platinum Travertine Riven, Natural Greystone Roche, Alabaster Quarry, Driftwood Timber, Turin Marble Ultramatt, Lumiere Ultramatt and Warm Plaster Mineral (plus Light Travertine Roccia on Pack C).
  • Chalkwood Riven, Calacatta Statuario Glaze, Alhambra Glaze, Vanilla Quartz Gloss, White Quartz Gloss, White Lightning Fossil Roccia, Doux Lime Quartz, Light Portland Mineral and Misuo Marble Shell.

Want a decor that is not offered as a kit, such as Bianco Carrara or Native Oak? Every Nuance decor can be ordered as individual panels – see our Nuance buying guide for which panels you need.

Do I need anything else?

Most installations need nothing more than the kit. You may want extra if:

  • Your walls are taller than 2420mm or wider than the kit allows – add individual panels in the same decor.
  • You are panelling a window reveal or a boxing-in – a 580mm Feature Panel has two finished edges for this.
  • You have a lot of joints and edges to seal – one tube of sealant covers about 20 linear metres at a 5mm bead, so a large room may need a second tube.

Yes. Packs B, D and E are sized for walls up to 1800mm or 2400mm, which covers standard bath lengths. Pack D is the usual choice for a bath in an alcove.

Which sealant colour comes with the kit?

The kit includes the Wilsonart Complete sealant colour Bushboard recommends for the finish you choose. It is shown in brackets next to each finish on the product page.

What if my shower is bigger than the largest kit?

Order the nearest kit and add individual panels in the same decor, or build your order entirely from individual panels. Contact us with your measurements and we will help.
