Tradeline Panel Adhesive & Sealant – 290ml

Wall panels are only as good as the adhesive holding them up. This is a high-grab formulation developed for exactly this job — enough initial tack to hold an 11mm board against a vertical wall without slipping while it cures, and enough flexibility once cured to cope with the small movement a bathroom wall goes through as it heats and cools. It doubles as the sealant for panel joints and trim channels.

What it does

• Bonds panels to plaster, plasterboard, tile, cement board and timber battens
• High initial grab holds the panel in place while curing
• Seals trim channels and panel joints as part of a watertight installation
• Remains flexible once cured, accommodating normal wall movement

How much do I need?

As a rough guide, allow one to two cartridges per full-size panel depending on how flat the wall is — an uneven wall takes considerably more, because the adhesive has to bridge the gaps. Ordering a spare is cheaper than stopping mid-job.

Fitting notes

• The wall must be sound, dry and free of dust, grease and loose material
• Apply in vertical beads so any moisture behind the panel can drain rather than pool
• Panels can be fitted over existing tiles provided the tiles are firmly bonded and degreased
• Support the panel while the adhesive develops strength
