Priced per box of 10 tiles. Each box covers approximately 0.20m² (10 tiles at 140x140mm, 0.02m² per tile). That works out at £3.37 per tile, or about £168.50 per m². Tiles are sold in full boxes only.
Bring the craft of the souk to your walls with this hand-painted gloss ceramic tile – a hand-painted pattern in the Agadir style, in blue and purple tones with every brush stroke visible. It celebrates the human touch, with the small irregularities of hand work that give a wall real character.
Each tile is painted by hand, so no two are quite the same and a finished wall has the life and warmth that printed tiles cannot match. At 140x140mm it is a small square that suits splashbacks, shower niches, borders and feature panels, and it can be mixed with the plain white tile from the same collection to spread the pattern across a larger wall.
Made from ceramic, it is light, easy to cut and fix, and suitable for internal walls including splashbacks and shower niches.

Coverage & Ordering
This tile is sold in full boxes of 10. Each box covers approximately 0.20m² (roughly 50 tiles per square metre). To work out how many boxes you need, divide your area in square metres by 0.20 and round up to the next whole box. We recommend allowing an additional 10% for cuts, wastage and future repairs.
Tiles are produced in batches and slight variation in shade between batches is normal. Please order the full quantity you need in one go so that everything comes from the same batch.
Installation Notes
Fix with a flexible wall tile adhesive and use a fine grout in a colour close to the base glaze; a 2mm joint keeps the pattern reading as one surface. Hand-painted tiles vary from piece to piece, so mix tiles from several boxes as you fix and enjoy the variation. This is a wall tile and is not suitable for floors.
Complete the Range
The Sanford hand-painted collection has three patterned designs – Marrakesh, Casablanca and Agadir – and a plain white companion, all in 140x140mm gloss, so you can run a full patterned panel or dot patterned tiles through a plain white field. Browse the full Sanford range.
