AKW Larenco Full Height Bi-Fold Alcove Glass Shower Doors (All Sizes)
The AKW Larenco Bi-Fold Alcove Door brings the space-saving folding action to alcove installations ā the door fits between two walls and folds back on itself as it opens, keeping the swing footprint compact and leaving a wide, clear entry. Ideal for tighter bathrooms where an outward-swinging door would obstruct the space. Made from 6mm clear toughened safety glass, 1900mm high, in a partially framed bright chrome design.
Key Features:
- 6mm Clear Toughened Safety Glass: Tested to EN12150, full height 1900mm
- Alcove Installation: Fits between two walls with wall profiles both sides for a neat, watertight finish
- Space-Saving Bi-Fold Action: The door folds in half as it opens, minimising swing space and maximising the clear entry width
- Non-Handed: Can be installed in left or right hand configurations
- Magnetic Cushion Seals: Excellent water retention
- Easy Grab Handles: Fitted inside and outside for safe operation
- Bright Chrome Finish: Sleek, contemporary aluminium profiles
- Stay Clear Protected Glass: Stays cleaner for longer and is easier to clean
- Fitting Adjustment: Built-in profile adjustment per size (see table). A Larenco wide wall compensator adds 20mm to the maximum opening only. It cannot lower the minimum.
- Versatile Installation: Suitable for wet floors, wet floor formers, shower trays or tiles

Measure your finished opening wall-to-wall at top, middle and bottom before ordering. The screen fits the opening, not the tray.
Not suitable for vinyl floors when fitted with a wide wall compensator, a narrow close-to or an extra narrow close-to.
Complete the Range:
Compare with the plain Larenco Full Height Alcove Doors, the split-opening Duo Alcove Doors or the corner-fitting Larenco Bi-Fold Doors, widen the opening with a 400mm Infill Panel, or add a wide wall Alcove Compensator to extend the maximum opening by 20mm.
