Frequently Asked Questions
What is a shower toilet?
A shower toilet, also called a wash and dry toilet or smart toilet, cleans you with a gentle spray of warm water after using the toilet, instead of toilet paper. Many models also dry with warm air and extract odours.
Do I need an electrician?
Yes. As well as a cold water supply, a Geberit AquaClean needs a 230 V electrical supply. A qualified electrician should install or sign off the connection in line with UK bathroom zoning regulations.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes. As well as the remote control, it works with the free Geberit Home App for settings, user profiles and maintenance.
How do I look after it in a hard water area?
Geberit AquaClean toilets have a descaling programme. Run it regularly with Geberit AquaClean descaling agent to keep the washing system working well.
