The Grohe combined inlet, waste and overflow valve for a bath, in 1½". This is the arrangement where the bath fills through the overflow rather than a separate spout, so the bath rim stays clear of tapware entirely — the reason it is specified on freestanding and island baths where a deck-mounted filler would spoil the line.
