Inside is Grohe's 28mm SilkMove ES ceramic cartridge with energy-saving cold-start function: in the central lever position the tap runs cold water only, so hot water is drawn just when you actually want it. Grohe EcoJoy caps water use at 5.7 litres per minute, the temperature limiter adds extra control, and Grohe QuickFix Plus single-hole installation with flexible connection hoses cuts fitting time significantly.
