The mains-powered version of the Grohe Essence E infra-red electronic basin mixer combines the range's slim cylindrical silhouette with touchless convenience — no battery changes, ever. Connected to a 230V supply via the included plug transformer, the infra-red sensor releases water only when hands are detected, keeping the tap hygienic and water use to a minimum. The mixing device with adjustable temperature limiter guards against scalding, and the laminar flow controller delivers a splash-free stream capped at 5 l/min.
