A mechanical self-closing shower valve for exposed installation — the standard fitting for changing rooms, sports pavilions, campsites and student blocks. One press starts the shower, and it stops automatically after a set period, so a shower left running by a distracted user costs minutes rather than hours. There is no electronic component whatsoever, which is exactly what you want in a wet, high-traffic, sometimes roughly-treated environment.
