The Eurosmart Cosmopolitan E basin mixer supplied with the GROHE Powerbox — a mains power supply unit that drives the tap from a permanent 230V connection instead of batteries. On a run of taps in a commercial washroom this removes battery replacement from the maintenance schedule entirely, which is usually where the running cost of sensor taps actually sits.
