The touch-free member of the Eurosmart family — an infra-red sensor detects hands beneath the spout and runs water only while they are there. It is a sensible upgrade for a busy family cloakroom or a small commercial washroom: nothing gets left running, and there is no handle to leave grubby. Battery powered from a 6V lithium cell, so no mains spur is needed at the basin.
