Nuie Carlton 530mm 1 Tap Hole Traditional Basin & Washstand (CLB502)

The Nuie Carlton 530mm 1 tap hole traditional basin and washstand sits on a slim metal washstand rather than a ceramic pedestal, leaving the frame open beneath so the basin appears to float above the floor. It is a distinctly Victorian look and a far lighter one than a full pedestal — the reason washstands remain the choice for period bathrooms where a solid ceramic column would dominate.

Unusually for a basin at this level, a chrome bottle trap is included — which matters here, because the pipework is on show beneath an open washstand rather than hidden inside a pedestal, and a standard plastic trap would spoil the effect. The rectangular bowl has a 136mm inner depth and a built-in overflow. This model is drilled with a single central tap hole for a mono basin mixer. A slotted waste is required and sold separately.
