What are Wall & Water wall panels?

Wall & Water is a range of decorative waterproof wall panels designed to replace tiles in wet areas. Each panel measures 2400 x 600mm and is 10mm thick, with a tongue-and-groove ‘Clickloc’ edge that locks neighbouring panels together. Panels are bonded to a sound, flat wall with panel adhesive, or screwed to timber battens, then sealed at the joints and edges. Because there is no grout, there is nothing to discolour, crack or trap mould — a quick wipe keeps them looking new for years.

Wall panels vs tiles: why make the switch?

  • 100% waterproof — ideal for showers, wet rooms and splash-prone walls.
  • Completely grout-free — more hygienic, easier to clean and far lower maintenance than tiled walls.
  • Fast to fit — large panels clad a wall in a fraction of the time tiling takes, with no drying or grouting stages.
  • Hard-wearing — the laminate surface resists impact, moisture, steam and everyday wear, and the range is backed by a lifetime guarantee.
  • Realistic designs — high-definition printing delivers convincing marble, stone, concrete and tile effects.

Where can you use Wall & Water panels?

The panels suit almost any splash-prone or high-humidity space, including:

  • Bathrooms and en-suites
  • Shower enclosures and walk-in showers
  • Wet rooms
  • Cloakrooms and downstairs WCs
  • Utility rooms and kitchen splashbacks

Formats to suit any wall

Wall & Water comes in several formats, so you can clad full walls quickly and create a feature area wherever you want one:

  • Full panels (2400 x 600mm) — the standard board for covering full walls fast.
  • Tile-effect (600 x 600mm and 600 x 300mm) — the look of large-format tiles, grout-free.
  • Herringbone — a contemporary patterned panel for a statement wall.
  • Brick / metro (150 x 600mm) — classic staggered tile styling without the upkeep.

The Wall & Water decor range

Current designs span crisp gloss whites, soft stone and cement tones, dramatic dark marbles and natural slate:

  • Snow White — a bright, clean gloss white.
  • Federa — a subtle brushed finish.
  • White Marble and Santorini Marble — elegant veined marble effects.
  • Black Velvet — a bold, deep dark marble.
  • Natural Slate — a realistic brushed slate, also available in herringbone.
  • Cement, Concrete and Brooklyn Concrete — on-trend industrial tones.
  • Nordic Blue — a soft satin blue, also available as a herringbone.

Trims, adhesives and finishing

A neat, watertight installation is completed with Wall & Water’s colour-matched aluminium trim system, available in Satin Silver, White, Black and Polished Chrome in 2420mm lengths:

  • End caps to finish exposed panel edges.
  • Internal and external corners for inward and outward angles.
  • H-sections to join panels neatly in a continuous run.

To seal the job you’ll also find matching panel adhesive, silicone sealants, Topseal colour-match sealant and Panseal trim.

How to fit Wall & Water panels

Fitting is straightforward for a competent DIYer or trade installer:

  1. Make sure the wall is clean, dry and flat. Panels can be bonded directly to plaster, existing tiles or backer board, or screwed to battens.
  2. Apply panel adhesive to the back of the panel and press it into place, starting from a corner or trim.
  3. Slot each panel’s tongue-and-groove edge into the last and continue across the wall, using H-sections and corner trims where needed.
  4. Seal all edges, corners and joints with the recommended sealant for a fully watertight finish.

Always follow the manufacturer’s fitting instructions for your specific installation.

Wall & Water panels: your questions answered

Are Wall & Water panels 100% waterproof?
Yes. The panels and their laminate surface are fully waterproof, making them suitable for showers and wet rooms when correctly sealed at the joints and edges.

Can I use them in a shower or wet room?
Absolutely — that’s exactly what they’re designed for. Used with the correct trims and sealant, they create a continuous, grout-free waterproof surface.

Can I fit panels over existing tiles?
In most cases yes, provided the tiled wall is sound, flat and firmly fixed — which makes them a popular choice for quick bathroom updates.

How do I clean them?
Simply wipe with a soft cloth and mild detergent. With no grout lines, there’s nothing to scrub or reseal.

Do I need trims?
Trims give the neatest, most watertight finish at edges, corners and joins, and are available to match in four finishes.
