The AKW Braddan shower tray with upward pumped waste is a 40mm low-profile, level-access shower tray with a slip-resistant surface and a factory-fitted AKW upward discharge waste. It's designed for installations where water can't drain away by gravity — such as solid floors that can't be broken into for a gravity drain — and comes in 24 sizes from 800x800mm to 1800x900mm.
Can you fit a waste into the floor? The AKW Braddan shower tray with a choice of waste comes with a GW50 or GW19 gravity waste, a pumped waste, or as tray only.
Pump not included — this tray needs a shower waste pump, such as the AKW M11 DigiPump.

What is an upward pumped waste shower tray?
It's a shower tray whose waste discharges upwards so the water can be pumped away, rather than relying on a gravity fall to the drain. On this Braddan the upward discharge waste is factory fitted by AKW.
Do I need a shower pump with this tray?
Yes. The waste is designed for pumped drainage and the pump is not included. We stock the AKW DigiPump range, including the M11 DigiPump — contact us if you'd like help choosing.
